Efficacy Tests
The Hydroclave has been fully tested by an internationally recognized Research Group:
The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Medicine, Dept. of Microbiology And Immunology.
These tests were conducted under real-life conditions, at the Kingston General Hospital, in Canada.
Below is the concluding remark of the Test Report:
 |
"The Hydroclave appears to be highly suitable for the
treatment of biomedical waste and can achieve an inactivation of
microbial load of >106 equivalent of B. stearothermophilus within
30 minutes at 121ºC or within 15 minutes at 132ºC."

Since 1995, efficacy tests have been repeatedly performed thousands of times on Hydroclave units operating around the world – all with the same result, with all types of waste characteristics.
Operating Approvals
Around the world, the Hydroclave has been approved for use as a steam sterilizing process for infectious waste.
Site-specific Operating Approvals for the Hydroclave have always
been readily granted, without exception, after on-site efficacy and emission testing.
Typical and existing Operating Approvals are available to Regulatory Agencies upon request.
In fact, Hydroclave Systems Corp. guarantees compliance with efficacy regulations any where in the world!
